I've had similar thoughts... I re...Interesting. I've had similar thoughts... I recently read the final book while on vacation.<br><br>Walking down the beach one day some lady looks at me excitedly and says: "Is that the latest Harry Potter?" And I say, "Yep! It's quite good so far..."<br><br>And then I was in a shop with the book in my hand and another lady stops to talk to me about it. She mentioned how she saw, in every other car on the highway, someone reading that book...<br><br>I was disturbed with the verse: "The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD." Amos 8:11<br><br>I could see their hunger, feel it even, to read the words of the Harry Potter book... and wished that when I was holding my bible in the streets that same hunger would be displayed so evidently.Bethanynoreply@blogger.com
