Coming Out as a Christian

…a fascinating and encouraging piece from The Independent in the UK: "God's bankers: How evangelical Christianity is taking a hold of the City of London's financial institutions."

This caught my eye—Eve Poole, a theologian who teaches business ethics in a business school MBA is quoted:
"It's often harder for young people to come out as Christians than it would be for them to come out as gay," she says. "Because of the vocal atheists – Dawkins and so on – people think your judgement is impaired if you say you're Christian at work."
I guess so. The culture says it's cooler to be gay than Christianmaybe even heroic.

Hmmm.
