For Doreen Montalbetti.. My Cousin
Just back from deepest Alberta where I got to preside over a funeral/memorial service for my cousin Doreen Montalbetti. She had been seriously injured in a car accident at the end of August and succumbed to her injuries on the 20th of October. A sad day shot through with good memories and good time with cousins and family. After introducing and reading Ecclesiastes 3.1-8, this is what I shared. The hand-written notes in red I took as David Montalbetti, Doreen’s son, shared some delightful and insightful memories of his mother.
