Sola Power

The 5 Solas (see here) have been on my mind lately:

1. Scripture alone


2. Faith alone


3. Grace alone


4. Jesus alone


5. Glory to God alone

Scripture Alone

Some Anglicans have added and are adding to this. For example, Scripture's primary authority is now accepted, or not, according to "enlightened" cultural "advances" and experience. If Scriptural standards of behaviour do not seem to make sense in our present situation, then it must not be true or authoritative. Human intellect has become the ultimate authority. 

Jesus Alone

…well…you know. The Way, the Truth and the Life. Unique. Without exception. Absolute. Plus nothing and no one. Alone.
