Now that is provocative indeed. If men were good, people like David Warren would never have to make a provocative statement such as this. Sad commentary that there are more passive or aggressive Adams out there in the world than those who are doing what they have been called to do and nurture their relationships and take care of things. Good one. Enjoyed that wee tidbit today.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I feel somewhat picked on by this one. True, the world certainly needs more love, demonstrated in all our relationships. That said, to lay the blame for abortions entirely at the feet of men, presumably uncaring men, seems presumptuous. I agree with you K, the world would be a better place if there were more men "doing what they have been called to do and nurture their relationships and take care of things". However, as that old adage goes, "it takes two to tango".
