Why the Anglican Church of Canada Can't, In Conscience, Sign On to the Anglican Covenant

A good piece by Dean Mercer and Catherine Sider-Hamilton in The Anglican Journal:
Since we are already proceeding with same-sex blessings in three dioceses, it would be self-contradictory, if not dishonest, to approve, still less adopt, the Covenant. 
I think they're right. As Archbishop Jensen suggests in the post below, the crisis is past, we must now live with the consequences.
