I've been thinking about that March 8th post (see below) and the folk who answered a call to actually come and join the battle for the soul of the Episcopal Church.
Is that what we in the Anglican Church of Canada need? People who will stay and battle for the its soul rather than leaving the fray for the relative security of some "shire."
As I write that my heart sinks. Conflict drains me. The thought of a lovely, gentle green shire with endless tea (coffee in my case) and toast is very appealling some days.
