The Great Sabbath—God Rests from His Labours.
After Good Friday I find I am tempted to relax and stop my Lenten fast today—even last night. The stress and emotional work of the cross-day is over. Unlike those in Jesus' day, we're blessed to know what's coming next so we can relax. Peace. Waiting. But the Lenten fast is still on until He's up.
